Dr Strange??

Maybe he wasn’t the most popular comic book character ever but he certainly is one of the most magical. Everyone meet Dr Stephen Strange, once a brilliant and arrogant neurosurgeon but after a car accident left him unable to perform surgery he searched for a cure and found one in the form of magic. This former surgeon became the Sorcerer Supreme and defeated many foes like demons and evil sorcerers.

So good news to everyone in the Marvel fandom and anyone else that is taking a liking to this character, we have a Dr Strange movie coming out in 2016 around November. As far as I know Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing the amazing and rich brain surgeon turned sorcerer. Cumberbatch was amazing in his Sherlock and I can’t wait until we can see some footage of Dr Strange. Scott Derrickson will be directing this movie and Kevin Feige is the producer. Thomas Dean Donnelly, Joshua Oppenheimer, and Jon Spaihts are co-writing the story. Hopefully there will be some epic special effects.

This is all we know so far as it is in the pre-production stage so far. I am so excited for this movie to come out on will be checking for updates regularly. For all of those people with Netflix there is an excellent Dr Strange movie out. It is animated and tells of Dr Strange’s beginnings and his first fight with the demon Dormammu. Read up about him in the comics as well to get ahead and learn about Marvel’s mystical hero.
